Nexus Repository 3 is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the SSL Certificate Retrieval endpoint. A user holding the nexus:ssl-truststore:read permission could cause the server to initiate outbound connections to internal or otherwise restricted network hosts. This issue affects Nexus Repository 3.0.0 through versions prior to 3.94.0.
CVE-2026-7494
This medium-severity CVE scores 5.3 under a secondary CVSS source (NVD's own analysis pending). EPSS exploit probability: 0.1%, top 96% of all CVEs by exploit prediction. GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).
- Lower severity and no public exploit yet
No vendor fix yet — apply a workaround or compensating control (WAF / firewall / segmentation) and watch for a patch.
