PX4 autopilot is a flight control solution for drones. Prior to 1.17.0-rc2, tattu_can contains an unbounded memcpy in its multi-frame assembly loop, allowing stack memory overwrite when crafted CAN frames are processed. In deployments where tattu_can is enabled and running, a CAN-injection-capable attacker can trigger a crash (DoS) and memory corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.17.0-rc2.
CVE-2026-32707
This medium-severity CVE scores 6.1 under NVD CVSS v3. EPSS exploit-prediction score not yet available (the EPSS model rescores nightly; freshly-published CVEs typically appear within 48 hours). GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).
- Lower severity and no public exploit yet
No vendor fix yet — apply a workaround or compensating control (WAF / firewall / segmentation) and watch for a patch.
